A jury Thursday acquitted a homicide suspect plucked from a Nascar-themed limousine minutes after a 2007 homicide outside a Metreon bar.
Kenoye Stroman, 26, was accused of killing Ronald Jacques outside Jillian’s nightclub before fleeing in a red, white and blue limousine. He was with a group of seven men that sped away after the shooting on Sept. 16, 2007, and who were pulled over later in Oakland.
In a press release about the acquittal, the public defender’s office said police had put bags around the hands of the suspects to preserve possible gunshot residue evidence, but that the bags were thrown away after the men urinated on their hands.
