Western Addition victim had nothing to offer thieves, but was stabbed anyway

A 38-year-old man reportedly told armed crooks in the Western Addition on Tuesday that he had nothing to give them.

But that didn’t stop one of the thugs from stabbing the man in the torso with a small knife on the corner of Laguna and Grove streets at about 7:20 p.m.

The suspects fled after the pointless attack empty-handed, police said. Thankfully, the victim is expected to survive.

No arrests have been reported.
