San Carlos pot growers ordered to pay back PG&E

Illegal marijuana growers in San Carlos have been ordered to pay more than $27,000 to PG&E for bypassing their electricity meter, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Alexis Bennight, 59, John Breisch, 53, and Ryan Schofield, 34, all pleaded no contest in May to various charges related to two grow facilities.

Bennight and Breisch also were both sentenced to six months in County Jail and probation, prosecutors said, while Schofield received 120 days in jail and probation.
