A woman in the Upper Haight neighborhood had her camera snatched while she was taking pictures about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

The 66-year-old victim reportedly tried to fight off the crook, described as a male who appeared to be in his late teens, on Haight Street near Masonic Avenue. But he fled with the camera and had not been found as of Thursday, police said.
