To beanie or not to beanie.

A man wan was arrested last Friday for allegedly stealing beanies from a Tenderloin department store.

Store security told police they saw the man enter the store on O’Farrell Street wearing a backpack. He then put several beanies into the backpack and walked out.

Security guards detained the man until police arrived. When asked why he committed the theft, he told police rather indignantly, “I wanted some beanies!”
