A woman was robbed of her purse in the Tenderloin early Wednesday morning, police said.

The 46-year-old victim was walking in the 500 block of Geary Street about 1 a.m. when a man in his 20s approached from behind, police said.

The crook grabbed her purse and fled on foot, police said.

No arrest has been made.
