A cabdriver who takes credit cards? In this case, it wasn’t for payment.

After arguing over fare payment at Hayes and Fillmore streets about 11:40 p.m. Saturday, a cabbie assaulted and robbed a passenger, police said.

The 30-year-old male victim was reportedly held at knifepoint before the driver robbed him of a cellphone and credit card, police said. The cabbie fled and no arrest has been made.
