A woman was critically injured in a stabbing in the Mission district Monday, police said.
The 35-year-old victim and a 27-year-old man she is reportedly acquainted with were having an argument in the 2900 block of Mission Street about 1:30 p.m. when he stabbed her in the chest with a screwdriver. The man was arrested.

A man was arrested in the Bayview district over the weekend for public drunkenness, police said.
Officers responded to the 1600 block of Palou Avenue on Saturday morning and found a man hiding beer behind a parked car. When an officer poured the beer out, the man yelled, “You don’t have any right pouring that beer out!”
When officers asked for identification, the man refused. He was arrested.

Two men were injured in a robbery in the Bayview district Sunday, police said.
The two victims were walking with a woman in the area of Third Street and Thomas Avenue about 10:30 p.m. when they were approached by three suspects.
One of the suspects began flirting with the woman and grabbed her arm, police said. One of the men tried to pull her back, but was hit over the head with a bottle by a second suspect, police said.
The man’s friend tried to intervene, but he fell and cut his hands on the broken glass. The hoodlums then snatched phones and money from the victims’ pockets, police said. They also grabbed the woman’s purse.
