Just one more beer.

A Bayview man was cited and arrested for allegedly imbibing a beer while “throwing bones” Saturday in Mendell Plaza.

Bike-riding cops in the 1400 block of Mendell Street saw the man drinking a beer outside while playing dominoes about 1:45 p.m., police said. He was detained and given a citation.

The man then went to a nearby liquor store, bought another beer and began drinking it in front of the officers. They approached him again, but he fled.

When the cops caught up, he put down his beer and put up his dukes. As they tried to detain him, he took a swing, narrowly missing one of the officers.

He was soon subdued and arrested, police said.
