Two men were arrested Monday morning for allegedly stealing metal rebar from a construction site near McLaren Park, police said.

After being notified by a witness, police pulled over the suspects’ vehicle in the 700 block of Avalon Avenue about 6:14 a.m. The men told police they were just collecting recyclables.
