A woman was shot after an argument in Bernal Heights on Wednesday, police Lt. Michael Andraychak said.
The victim, who is in her 20s, was sitting in a Buick in the 900 block of Ellsworth Street about 10 a.m. when she became involved in an argument with another woman, Andraychak said. The second woman took off, but a man with a gun showed up shortly thereafter.
He fired shots at the car, Andraychak said, and the victim was struck.
She drove away from the scene and stopped a passing police patrol car at Mission and Brook streets. She was then taken to a hospital, Andraychak said, but her injuries are not considered life-threatening.
No arrest had been made as of Wednesday.
