A man was robbed in The City’s Portola neighborhood Monday, police said.

The 23-year-old victim was walking in the area of Silver Avenue and Amherst Street around 7:15 p.m. when a man in his 20s approached simulating he had a gun in his waistband, police said.

The crook demanded the victim’s property and the victim complied. The crook fled on foot with the victim’s wallet, cellphone, briefcase and cash.
