Wild and wacky

The Peninsula provided plenty of crime fodder last week.

Avocet Court, Foster City, 5:59 p.m. Wednesday

Make yourself at home! A homeowner called police saying he saw a rental advertisement for his home on Craigslist that he never placed.

Catamaran Street, Foster City, 10:03 p.m. Wednesday

Just exercising the right to remain silent. Police at an apartment complex were called about “excessive noise” from someone who was exercising in the recreation center.

Hallmark Drive, Belmont, 7:22 p.m. Thursday

This preparation for a street fight was perhaps too literal. Police responded to a report of a suspicious person “in the middle of the street doing leg kicks.”

Red Oak Way, Redwood City, 10:44 a.m. Wednesday

Nosey know-it-all neighbor? A contractor called police saying a neighbor keeps harassing his workers, telling them they are not doing their jobs right.
