This could go down as one of the worst cover-ups in San Francisco crime history.
A parolee who was apparently trying to conceal his identity by wearing a camouflage bandanna across his face did more to attract the cops who arrested him Sunday night than to stay on the down-low.
The master of disguise was booked into jail on narcotics and parole violation charges, Bayview station police said.
Patrolling officers were suspicious of the man and asked him to remove the mask. The officers “immediately recognized him from previous arrests and knew that he had an extensive criminal history,” police said.
During a search, he reportedly dropped a baggie that contained 2.5 grams of crack cocaine, police said.
