Dog thrown from third-floor window in Mission

Who’s the real animal here?

A woman who has yet to be identified was arrested Sunday for allegedly throwing a dog from a third-floor window in the Mission district, police said.

The pooch is in stable condition, an Animal Care and Control spokeswoman said Wednesday.

Police were called to the 100 block of Albion Street, between 16th and 17th streets, on a report of animal cruelty at about 1:30 p.m.

“Upon arrival they quickly realized the suspect had thrown a dog out of a window from three stories up,” the police captain’s report out of the Mission Station said.

Animal Care and Control took custody of the dog and a suspect was arrested and booked.
