A woman was robbed and pepper-sprayed by two young girls in the South of Market area Thursday, police said.

The victim was walking along the sidewalk in the 800 block of Mission Street around 6:15 p.m. when one of the teenaged girls peppers-sprayed her while the other snatched the woman’s phone, police said.

The woman got her cellphone back after police detained the young crooks in training.
