Two Half Moon Bay area preschools were ransacked and burglarized Sunday to Monday, with computer equipment and children’s medication stolen, authorities said.

The Coastside Child Development Center on Redondo Beach Road and the Picasso Preschool in El Granada were victimized, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.

The burglaries were quite similar, with the crook or crooks prying open a locked window, then ransacking and looting the building while inside, deputies said.
