A 25-year-old man found stabbed to death in the Outer Mission district Thursday later died at the hospital, marking the third homicide in San Francisco this year, police said.
Police found the victim, who has yet to be identified, lying on the ground at Regent Street near Alemany Boulevard with puncture wounds to his chest about 9 p.m.
He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No suspect has been identified as of Friday morning, police said.
