A car went up in flames in San Francisco’s Merced Heights neighborhood Thursday after someone threw a Molotov cocktail at it, police said.

A witness saw a man in his 40s throw the flaming bottle at the car in the 500 block of Ramsell Street around 9:30 p.m., police said. A 22-year-old man owned the car that was bombed.

The mad bomber then ran to a waiting vehicle and fled. No arrest has been made.
