More robbery reports on Muni vehicles over the weekend continue disturbing trend.
Third and Evans streets
10 p.m. Friday
One of three teenage girls snatched a cellphone from a 34-year-old man’s hands on the T-Third line. The victim chased down and tackled the punk. He was pepper-sprayed, but he won back his phone.
Gough and McAllister streets
11:28 a.m. Sunday
One of three suspects grabbed a man’s cellphone on a Muni bus. The victim, 31, fought for it back — at one point biting the suspect’s hamstring. But the suspect’s pal intervened and they successfully fled with the phone.
Mission Street and Richland Avenue
11:50 p.m. Sunday
A thief in his late 20s attempted to swipe a 22-year-old woman’s phone on a Muni bus, but she fought for it. The suspect eventually fled with the phone.
Eddy and Larkin streets
11:50 p.m. Friday
A 23-year-old man was punched while on a Muni coach. The suspect, a man in his 30s, then fled the bus with his cellphone.
