Three injured in separate San Francisco shootings Thursday

Gunfire injured three people in two separate San Francisco shootings on Thursday night.

None of the injuries was life threatening, police said.

Just after 9 p.m. in the Sunnydale housing projects, four trigger-happy thugs walked up to two men and opened fire, striking a 50-year-old man in the ribs and arm and a 31-year-old man in the ribs and foot, police said. The suspects fled in an unknown direction. The victims were transported to San Francisco General Hospital, police said.

Two hours later in the Western Addition, a 47-year-old woman was shot in the buttocks while walking on the sidewalk in the 1100 block of Turk Street, police said.

She was also transported to SFGH.

There have been no arrests in either shooting, police said Friday.
