Vile villains rob victim in van

San Francisco police are hunting a roving band of thugs who threw a 23-year-old man into their van and robbed him in the Ingleside area Wednesday morning, police said.

The victim was walking in the area of Lobos Street and Capital Avenue around 2:30 a.m. when a blue Ford Windstar van with three men in their 20s in it pulled up next to him.

One of the hoodlums in the van brandished a knife and forced the victim into the vehicle, police said.

They then drove away and took the victim’s wallet and cash. The thugs then pulled over, punched the victim multiple times and dumped him on the sidewalk, cops said. Then they fled.

The victim suffered bruises to his face and refused medical treatment. No arrests have been made.
