Apparently forgetting he was a wanted man, a brilliant crook opted not to pay his Muni fare and then thought it was a good idea to hurl a bottle out of the bus Wednesday, police said.
Police were called to a fight on a Muni bus at 33rd Avenue and Lincoln Way around 11:40 p.m.
The bus driver pointed out the unruly man to the officers. The cops discovered he had a $5,000 warrant for possession of stolen property, and also "other stolen items on him." He was arrested.
