San Francisco police bust thug for play targeting them

Police officers patrolling a notorious San Francisco gangland encountered a thug pretending to fire off two guns at officers, police said.

Cops knew the goon from previous run-ins and, believing he was a credible threat, took him into custody at Visitacion Avenue and Britton Street just before 6 p.m. Monday.

As the cops passed the thug, he “bent his elbows and simulated holding two guns.” Then he “simulated the tracking and shooting of both officers,” police said.

The area is “infamous for gang activity, shootings, homicides and various crimes of terror,” police at Ingleside Station said.
