Enraged man takes out frustrations on Tenderloin bus shelter

An enraged man smashed signs at a Tenderloin bus shelter with his cane after an argument with a Muni driver on Wednesday, police said.

Responding police found shattered glass scattered on the ground around the bus shelter on Eddy Street. Witnesses said the suspect, who lives in the neighborhood, got into an argument with a bus driver. After the bus left, he swung his cane at the bus shelter signs.

The suspect was arrested and booked into jail on charges of malicious mischief and vandalism to public property, police said.
