A 23-year-old survived multiple gunshot wounds in the Bayview on Tuesday, police said.

A shooting between two groups erupted at around 10 p.m. in the unit block of Doublerock Street. An unknown suspect shot the victim several times and both groups fled the scene, police said.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that were not life threatening, cops said.
