A carjacking victim in San Francisco held a beer in his hand and reeked of booze when he explained to cops what happened to him Sunday, police at Taraval Station said.
The new details in the violent carjacking on the 700 block of Randolph Street were released Wednesday.
The 53-year-old man told police he left his car running as he went into a store around noon, police said. When he returned to his car, two male thugs punched him and took off in his car, the victim told cops.
The victim, who was not seriously injured, said he ran 1.2 miles to his home and called police.
He talked to cops “with a beer in his hand and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage upon him,” police said. On top of that, he was uncooperative with the cops, they said.
The victim described the suspects only as “dark males,” police said. The carjacked vehicle was described as a gray 1991 Honda Accord.
