A 23-year-old man was critically injured in a Bayview shooting on Sunday, police said.

The victim was in a car with three other people that was traveling on Third Street around 3:30 a.m. When the car turned onto Gilman Street, a gunman on foot opened fire into the car. Only one person was hit, police said. There have been no arrests. Police also lacked a detailed description of the shooter.

The incident remains under investigation.
