A crazed woman wielding a tire iron threatened a driver and cops — all over a dispute about a parking space near the Cow Palace on Monday, police said.
Police were called about the enraged woman around 7 p.m. The victim told cops he saw the woman begin to pull out of a space in a parking lot near Geneva Avenue and Santos Street. The woman took her time pulling out of the spot, and the man said he honked his horn to get her attention, hoping to ask if she was leaving, police said.
The woman hopped out of the driver’s seat with the tire iron “yelling and threatening the victim,” police at Ingleside Station said.
“The victim did not want any trouble and drove off,” police said.
After broadcasting a description of the suspect and her car, police pulled over the suspect nearby. The woman cursed at the officers while still clutching to the tire iron, police said.
The cops disarmed the suspect without anyone being injured, police said. She was positively identified by the victim and booked on a weapons charge at Ingleside Station.
