Say hey! That’s my bobblehead!
An 18-year-old Giants fan was robbed at knifepoint of a bobblehead and statue outside AT&T Park on Friday, police said Monday.
The team gave out special bobbleheads and statues of Willie Mays to the first 20,000 fans at Friday’s game, in celebration of Mays’ 80th birthday.
The robbery happened near the stadium around 8 p.m. The crook, a man between the ages of 17 and 25, asked where he got the bobblehead and then put a knife against the fan’s stomach, police said.
The crook then fled on foot.
On Monday, a similar statue and bobble-head set was being sold on eBay for $98.88.
