Thieving thugs stabbed a 50-year-old homeless man and set fire to his tent in Golden Gate Park just past midnight Friday, police said.
The victim’s injuries were not life threatening in the attack at Transverse Drive and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.
Four thugs demanded cash from the victim, then bashed him over the head with a gun when he refused. They stabbed him and set his tent on fire before fleeing on foot.
The victim lost his tent and all his belongings, police said.
He was transported to UC San Francisco hospital.
