Marina district store robbed at gunpoint

A Marina district store was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night, police said.

The crook made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the store in the 2000 block of Chestnut Street at around 7:30 p.m. He pointed a handgun at one of the employees, demanded money, then fled, police said.

No one was injured. There has been no arrest. Police are investigating.
