Argument led to cutting tension with a knife -- literally

A 44-year-old woman was slashed in the face by a 35-year-old woman at Turk and Jones streets Monday, SFPD said.

The older woman approached the younger woman around 3 p.m. and started arguing with her. The younger woman wasn’t having it, so she pulled out a knife and sliced the older woman in the face, police said.

The woman then fled the scene. No arrest has been made.
