The 50-year-old man accused of stealing ballots in San Francisco on Election Day in November is scheduled to be in court Monday morning.

Karl Bradfield Nicholas was in charge of a polling site on Nov. 2 when he allegedly absconded with approximately 75 ballots.

The ballots were later found floating in the pond at the Palace of Fine Arts in the Marina district.

Nicholas faces three felony charges for the incident, including two for unlawful tampering with voting machines and ballots. The third is for a felony computer crime charge.

He pleaded not guilty to the charges on Nov. 5. A pretrial hearing is set for Monday and the jury trial is scheduled for Jan. 25.
