A night out on the town took a dangerous turn for a bar patron in the Bernal Heights neighborhood early Thursday morning.
After leaving a pub near the 100 block of Coleridge Street at 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, a 27-year-old man was followed to a park by four suspects, all Hispanic males in their mid-20s, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
While at the park, a fight broke out between the man and his four assailants, with one of the suspects stabbing the victim. By the time police arrived on the scene, all four suspects had fled on foot, and the victim was suffering from life-threatening injuries.
The victim was transferred to San Francisco General Hospital. His current status is unknown.
No arrests have been made, and the police are investigating.
