A would-be bank robber came up empty-handed in the Richmond district after his attempted heist was stopped by the cops.
The suspect, a black male, entered a bank on the 3500 block of California Street at 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday, walked up to a teller, and demanded money.
The employee complied with the suspect’s demand, but after the bandit fled the scene, he was quickly arrested, cops said.
Police said more details about the crime will be released later.
