Two San Francisco businesses robbed at gunpoint

At least two businesses were robbed at gunpoint over the weekend, police said.

The first robbery occurred in the 800 block of Van Ness Avenue on Saturday around 10:40 p.m., cops said.

A suspect entered the restaurant, ordered food and then pulled out a gun and demanded the restaurant’s cash, police said.

Two young workers complied, and the bandit fled, police said.

A second robbery happened at 16th and Bryant streets Sunday, cops said.

Around 4 p.m., an armed bandit in his late 20s entered a store and put a silver handgun to the 23-year-old clerk’s head and demanded he open the safe, police said.

The victim complied and the crook fled in an unknown direction, cops said.

No arrests have been made.
