A goon pushed and then robbed a 32-year-old man in the Excelsior district Tuesday, police said.

The victim was approached from behind at Avalon Avenue and Athens Street around 8:15 p.m. The thug demanded cash after pushing the victim, police said.

The impatient suspect then reached into the man’s pocket, snagging his wallet and fleeing on foot, police said.

No arrest has been made.
