Police are warning about a burglar whose been kicking-in doors in the Marina district.

Burglaries in multiunit apartment buildings in the Marina are on the rise, Capt. Ann Mannix of the San Francisco Police Department’s Northern Station recently tweeted.

It appears one crook sneaks into hallways, finds out who’s not home and then kicks in the door to gain access, Mannix said.

Mannix advises residents to call police when they see suspicious people.
