Police hunt sticky thief

Cops are hunting a crook that uses glue to rob ATM customers.

Around 3 p.m. Friday, police were called about a thief that had applied glue to the buttons of an ATM machine at the Bank of America at Fell and Broderick streets, police said.

The suspect then waited for customers who did not know how to use the ATM’s touch screen to leave their debit cards in the machine while they sought help from a bank employee, police said.

The suspect would then use the touch screen to remove cash from a victim's account, police said.
