Jay Heimbach, special assistant to the President for legislative affairs, is the third of Obama's liaisons to Capitol Hill who has cashed out to become a corporate lobbyist. I just noticed his first lobbying filing, with the sand industry as his first client at the K Street firm Ricchetti, Incorporated.
Heimbach's legislative affairs colleague Sean Kennedy cashed out the Air Transport Association, and Dan Turton left the office this year to run the lobbying shop of Entergy. Like Turton, Heimbach was a corporate lobbyist before he came to the White House. So, this leg. affairs office has quite a fast-spinning revolving door.
