Senate votes to move forward on Patriot Act extension, 79 to 18

The U.S. Senate just voted by a 79 to 18 margin to move forward on extending the Patriot Act for four years, breaking a filibuster led by Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky.
Patriot Act provisions will expire after midnight tonight if final votes aren't held in the House and Senate in time to get the legislation to President Obama for his signature.
