Judicial Watch head Tom Fitton testified today before the House Energy and Commerce Committee concerning President Obama's looming DISCLOSE executive order mandating disclosure of political contributions to individual candidates and causes by owners, directors and managers of companies seeking federal contracts.
Fitton, who has probably filed more Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests with federal departments and agencies than any other single individual in the nation's capitol, views the order as a direct threat to First Amendment freedom of political speech.
