Poll: Voters don't approve of Libya; Obama gets lowest approval numbers ever

A Quinnipiac University poll released today show that Americans oppose America's involvement in Libya by 47 percent. Half of those polled think that the president does not deserve a second term in office, while 41 percent say he does. The poll demonstrates conflicting views however regarding Libya as 53% of respondents support using cruise missiles to destroy Libya's air defenses and 65% support using military force to protect civilians from Gadhafi, suggesting that Obama's effort to frame the mission in Libya in those terms may turn public opinion in his favor.
