And his songs crackle with the flame of working-class Glasgow — anthemic rabble-rousers that carry the torch of homeland forebears like Big Country.

So what did the man do for his long-awaited sophomore release?

Head to America, of course. To Santa Monica, specifically, where Glasvegas set up studio shop with producer Flood to track the oddly-dubbed “Euphoric///Heartbreak///,” out April 5 on Columbia.
