Scoop: Billy Bush out at NBC — and none too soon

“Today” show host Billy Bush is no longer a part of NBC — and good riddance!

“Billy Bush will be leaving the ‘Today’ show’s 9 a.m. hour, effective today,” executive producer Noah Oppenheim wrote in a memo to NBC staff on Monday, according to Page Six. “While he was a new member of the ‘Today’ team, he was a valued colleague and longtime member of the broader NBC family. We wish him success as he goes forward.” (Really?)

Bush issued a statement in which he said he is “deeply grateful” for “support from family, friends and colleagues” and that he looks “forward to what lies ahead.”

Bush was suspended from “Today” last week after disgusting 2005 leaked footage from his former show “Access Hollywood” revealed him engaged in lewd talk with Donald Trump. Bush said he was “embarrassed” about the tape, which he apparently bragged about to NBC staffers at the Rio Olympics before it came to light.

While a settlement was not announced on Monday, NBC sources told Page Six that Bush was likely to get $10 million from NBC, the value of his three-year contract. (Bush’s attorney Marshall Grossman did not immediately respond to Page Six.)

Meanwhile, comedians on Twitter — including Patrick Monahan (“not the Train guy”), Nick Offerman and David Cross — had a fun time creating a fake news story about Bush donating the money to women’s charities and used the hashtag #ThanksBilly to promote it.

NO APOLOGY JOE

Joe Jonas is elaborating on why he called out ex-girlfriend Ashley Greene as the woman who took his virginity on Reddit in a buzzed about session about his sex life.

“I don’t know. I think life’s too short, you know?” the 27-year-old singer told “Entertainment Tonight.” He said, “Ultimately, I think of myself as an honest guy. There are just those moments in life where you have to be true to yourself and true to the world.”

“I’m not out to hurt anybody, but I think, ultimately, I’m just telling my stories and what I can say from my heart,” he added.

On Instagram, Greene sort of responded: “Class is timeless.”
