A man sitting in a bus stop was shot in the face with a BB gun in the Mission district early Monday, police said.
The 43-year-old victim was sitting at 24th and Mission streets around 12:55 a.m. when an 18-year-old man walked by, uttered something to him and then shot him once in the face.
The injured man was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.
The BB gun-toting goon fled on foot. There has been no arrest.
