Art U men’s hoops claims last-second victory

Academy of Art University’s men’s basketball team earned a victory over Notre Dame de Namur on a last-second shot on Monday. Senior Herman Pratt IV made the winning basket on a floater over a pair of defenders. The Urban Knights won 61-59.


ART U’s baseball team beat Cal State East Bay in its season opener last week. Brett Bovee threw seven frames while giving up two runs in a 4-2 win for the Urban Knights.
