Armed robbery at suburban Taco Bell

Authorities today are searching for two gunmen who took money from a Taco Bell restaurant and stole a customer's wallet Tuesday night in Martinez, police said.

At about 11:20 p.m. the suspects entered a Taco Bell restaurant at 11 Muir Road. Police said two employees and a customer were in the restaurant at the time of the robbery.

The suspects, who both carried handguns, jumped over the front counter and took an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police. They then robbed the customer of his wallet.

The suspects ordered the employees and customer into the restaurant's bathroom before they fled the area on foot, police said.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspects are only described as black men between the ages of 20 and 30.
