Stanford women’s basketball’s senior forward Nnemkadi Ogwumike was named the United States Basketball Writer’s Association National Player of the Week on Tuesday following her career-best performance in a 97-80 win over sixth-ranked Tennessee on Dec. 20. The award came a day after Ogwumike was also named Bank of the West Pac-12 Conference Player of the Week for the second time this season. Read More

Cal offensive lineman Matt Summers-Gavin hasn’t had the easiest path to success in his three-plus seasons with the Golden Bears, but this year everything seemed to fall into place.
